O que é Field Papers?<\/a><\/h1>\n

Como o tutorial vai demonstrar, há muitas maneiras de coletar dados para a elaboração de mapas. Na maioria dos casos, um smartphone ou um GPS permitem conexão até nas áreas mais remotas, mas mesmo assim, eles têm seus limites. É aí que anotações de campo podem ser úteis. Utilizando simplesmente caneta e papel, você pode rapidamente desenhar pontos, linhas e polígonos e depois subi-los num formato digital simplesmente fotografando o seu desenho.<\/p>\n

Field Papers<\/a>, uma versão atualizada da ferramenta Walking Papers<\/a> criada pelo Stamen Design<\/a>, nos permite imprimir o mapa de uma determinada área, desenhar sobre ele, adicionar observações e depois abri-lo num editor OpenStreetMap, como o iD, para digitalizá-lo.<\/p>\n

How do Field Papers Work<\/a><\/h1>\n

\"QR_Code\"<\/a>When you print a Field Paper, the paper comes with a square QR code on the bottom of the page. This bar code allows Field Papers to determine the exact location of the map that you are using to survey. Later, when you load the paper back into JOSM, all the objects that you drew will be in shown in their actual locations, or at least quite close, which is good enough for us.<\/p>\n

Create your paper atlas:<\/b><\/p>\n

Locate the area you want to map on the Field Papers website. Print out a map of this area. You can choose to print the current map of the area with OpenStreetMap, or you can choose to print aerial imagery, if it is available in your area.<\/p>\n
